Slot Disablement
Use this window to enable or disable system slots. Only slots that are present on your system will be available for control.
NOTE: This help page may include information about features and values not supported by your system. Server Administrator only displays the features and values that are supported on your system.

NOTE: Based on available hardware, dependencies may exist between the various attributes for settings. For example, setting a attribute value may change the state of the dependent attributes to non-editable or editable, as the case may be.

Slot n
This field controls the configuration of the card installed in this slot. The available options are:
Enable | Enables the card during POST or to the operating system. |
Disable | Disables the card during POST or to the operating system. |
Boot Driver Disabled | The Option ROM does not run during POST, the system cannot boot from the card, and its pre-boot services are also not available. However, it is available to the OS. This option is not available if the slot contains a RAID card. |
