Intrusion Alert Actions

Use this window to view information about current actions that are configured if a chassis intrusion, or to change the actions that are configured.

NOTE: This feature is not available on Dell PowerEdge servers MX840C and MX740C.
NOTE: For more details on user privilege levels, see Privilege Levels in the Server Administrator UI.
NOTE: Due to the limitations of the VMware ESXi operating system, the Setting Alert Actions feature is not available with this release of Server Administrator.
NOTE: Some systems do not issue alerts for chassis cover intrusion and bezel removal.

Currently Active Actions

Currently Active Actions shows the actions that you now have configured in a chassis intrusion. To change the currently selected alert actions, click Chassis Intrusion Detected in the Event column.

Currently Active Actions shows the actions that you now have configured in the event of a Drive Bay intrusion. To change the selected alert actions, click Drive Bay Intrusion Detected in the Event column.

Set Alert Actions For Chassis Or Bezel Intrusion or Drive Bay Intrusion

Standard alert actions for chassis or bezel intrusion or Drive Bay Intrusion are the same as for other components.

Display an Alert Message on the Server Enables the managed system's console alert. When enabled, the monitor that is attached to the managed node displays an alert message.
Broadcast a Message Enables an alert to display on designated consoles. When enabled, an alert is broadcast to certain users. For more information about who receives the broadcast message, see Set Alert Actions.
Execute Executes an application program. When enabled, Server Administrator performs the program that you specify to diagnose, solve, or otherwise intervene to take corrective action.
